An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me

Chapter 38: Fifteen days to go

Sophie returned with a bowl of water and some bandages. She knocked on the door, waiting for a response, but she got none. She knocked again and again, until it became obvious that no one was coming.

She felt like leaving, but she remembered the wounds all over his body. She feared if she left, something bad could happen. Gritting her teeth, she took the risk and opened the door, walking in to see Riven collapsed on the floor unconscious.

Scared, she dropped the bowl on the ground carefully and moved to his side. She lifted his head up slightly and tapped the side of his face. His eyes fluttered and opened, her face the first thing he saw.

He saw the worry and fear plastered on her delicate face, and her gaze made him instantly sad. He couldn’t remember when someone looked at him with such a soft gaze in both worlds.

Trying to not allow the affection to go to his head, he sat up slowly. She helped him to make sure that he didn’t fall down. He glanced at the bowl and the bandage. "Thank you," he said and tried to prop himself up.

Because of adrenaline during the fight, he had failed to see just how injured and weak he was. His body cried out in pain right now, so much that he could barely move on his own.

She helped him to his feet and into the bathroom. She filled it up and then left him inside. Riven watched her carefulness to not do anything wrong, and he found it nice. Despite the fact that she didn’t like the young master, she still did what she did to help someone that was injured.

He got into the bathroom and washed off all the dirt and blood from his body. He stayed in the water for a while longer to allow his muscles to relax.

After he felt that he had soaked enough, he came out of the bath with only his underwear. He headed out of the bathroom. He found her still standing in the room waiting for him.
