Silas’s POV

My head started to get dizzy. I felt like I was going to die, and my eyes closed. And then I snapped my eyes open. I found myself lying down on the bed.

And I realized that it was a dream which I had seen. I glanced at Velric, and he was still covered with the quilt, the same way I had covered him in my dream.

I quickly removed the quilt from his face, and he was sleeping. My heart was beating so fast seeing this. And then I realized that the window was open—just like in my dream.

Velric was looking down from the window—that’s why I had closed the window before sleeping, I remembered. And now the window is open; it means someone has sneaked inside.

This window was locked from the inside, and the bedroom doors are locked from the inside. I don’t know how someone had gotten in, but someone has sneaked in. And I think that someone—Krivan—was still inside the room.

I grabbed Velric into my arms and came down from the bed. I quickly rushed to the door, and after opening it, when I came outside, there was no guard in the hallway, and the hallway’s lights were also dim.

Where had all the guards gone? That’s why even when I screamed for help, no one had come.

I went ahead, and the office was in the middle of the palace. As I reached it, I quickly opened the door and dashed inside. They all were working, but seeing me, they stood up.

"Silas, what happened?" Damon took Velric from my hands, and he touched my cheek.

I felt relieved that, yes, now no one can do anything to Mr. Nor Velric, because these four are here.
