Silas’s POV
As I was scrolling through YouTube, waiting for the MV to release, my phone suddenly rang. It was an unknown number. I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, but the call kept coming again and again, which was so irritating that, in the end, I answered it.
(Silas) "Hello?"
(Ciel) "Finally! You picked up my call. I thought it was going to take ages for you to answer."
Wait, it’s Ciel? How did he get my number, and why is he calling me?
(Silas) "Why the hell are you calling me now? Don’t tell me you wanted to hear me curse at you."
(Ciel) "Your MV—oops, I mean my MV—is releasing today. Should we watch it together? After all, we’re really good brothers now."
(Silas) "Since when did you become my brother? You were just a beggar, an orphan raised in our pack. Don’t even think you’ll always get what you want."
(Silas) "Nothing is permanent. And calling Father that day to force me to quit the entertainment industry? That was your worst plan. But, because of that, something good happened."
(Ciel) "What do you mean by something good?"
(Silas) "Father apologized to me. He said the only reason he listened to you was because you’re adopted, and he didn’t want you to feel bad. But secretly, he transferred all the company documents to me. He wants me to be the president because he knows you can’t handle business."
