Chapter 6: Meeting the eldest son
Silas's POV
"What the hell, man," I muttered to myself as Orian and Kael ran toward the lady. The king had already picked her up in his arms.
"Dad, I'll call the doctor right now," Kael said as he pulled out his phone and started dialing the doctor.
"Orian, go bring warm water to our room and also get your mom's medicines," the king instructed Orian.
Orian nodded and immediately ran off. The king picked up the lady and carried her away from there.
"What should I do now?" I murmured. The lady's condition didn't look good, but what does that have to do with me?
I'm not a member of their family. As for humanity, sure, I can show some sympathy, but staying here won't help the lady recover. I have to leave now.
I turned around and started to leave, but I couldn't find a way out.
There was only one path, the one the king had just taken. So, I went through that door and ended up inside the mansion.
