But as she thought of this, Brother Wei dangled the pill in front of her like bait. "So? What will it be?"
Xu Qing inhaled sharply. This was risky, but she needed that pill.
"...Fine. You have a deal."
Brother Wei laughed, his smirk widening. "Excellent! May the best disciple win."
Xu Qing clenched her fists, determination blazing in her eyes.
No way in hell was she losing this.
Not when the alternative was a dinner she might never recover from.
