"So, what? Are you planning to betray me?" Johnnie’s icy voice rang out, and the destruction command buried deep in Xavier’s consciousness seemed on the verge of being triggered.
Xavier was startled, dodging the Skysplitter Beast’s lethal attack in a panic, stammering, "I wouldn’t dare. But Master, without that shield, I can’t kill the Skysplitter Beast. If this puppet body is destroyed, you’re as good as dead too."
"Cut the crap and just keep it busy." Johnnie snapped coldly.
He could feel that this dark golden Mechanical Golem couldn’t withstand the Skysplitter Beast’s attacks for much longer, but destroying it wouldn’t be an easy feat either.
Xavier’s eyes flickered with resentment, but there was nothing it could do.
