Hansen Ruiz sat beside Glades Horne, while the four men took their seats on the long sofa.
However, when they saw a large bag of snacks on the coffee table, a look of surprise flashed in their eyes. They had met many company CEOs before. Still, this was the first time they had seen an office stocked with so many snacks favored by women and children. What made it more surprising was that this office belonged to a leading figure in the business world—the young master of the prominent Horne Family in T City.
"Could you show me your credentials, please?" Glades Horne said in a deep voice after the four men had sat down.
The four immediately took out their credentials and laid them out on the coffee table one by one.
These documents had been carefully reviewed by Hansen Ruiz when he selected them; only those who passed his scrutiny were brought here.
Glades Horne picked up each man’s documents and examined them closely, comparing them against their bearers. After ensuring the documents matched the individuals, he placed them back on the coffee table, lightly pushed them towards the four, and nodded.
The four men tucked their credentials back into their clothes.
"I’m hiring bodyguards this time solely to protect my wife. Since she doesn’t like being followed, you will need to stay hidden, essentially acting as invisible bodyguards. The four of you, working in two teams of two, will provide round-the-clock protection in rotating shifts. I know the working hours are long, but I will pay overtime. Whenever my wife leaves the house, no matter where she goes, you must follow her. If she encounters any trouble or wants to help someone, you must assist her.
