Chapter 13 - 013: Showing Off
Sophie Wilson, standing at a height of 1.7 meters, tall and well-proportioned, is definitely not the weak and fragile type. Once her aura opens, she absolutely dwarfs Sister Carter, who is less than 1.65 meters even in heels.
"Alright, alright, Supervisor Carter, this is work time, let’s not delay everyone’s work," the marketing supervisor said, hearing the commotion.
Sister Carter seized the opportunity to save face, snorted at Sophie Wilson, turned around, and strutted away on her high heels.
Once outside the marketing department office, Sister Carter leaned against the wall a bit weakly, patting her chest in relief.
Why was Sophie Wilson so frightening just now?
Her heart was still beating wildly, distressed by the palpitations.
She decided she needed to warn Eva.
"President Palmer is not someone who can’t distinguish right from wrong. Once President Palmer returns from his business trip, I’ll have a talk with him," the marketing supervisor advised Sophie Wilson, implying that even though Eva is President Palmer’s niece, she shouldn’t act recklessly.
The marketing supervisor had high regard for this employee in his department; her ability to handle matters was impressive, and she was anything but unsound.
