"What’s wrong?" Sophie Wilson was startled.
"The nanny dropped something." Charles Seymour’s calm voice was perfectly normal, "Be your boyfriend?"
"Yeah, just pretend to be my boyfriend." She couldn’t make their relationship clear to him now, but she could pretend for a start.
If they pretended long enough, it could become real.
Since she was reborn, she had already decided she was going to win him over for sure!
Isn’t this the perfect opportunity now? She wasn’t going to let it slip.
"Pretend?" Charles Seymour’s voice, which had just warmed up, quickly fell back to the freezing point, "Why do you want to pretend to be your boyfriend?"
"It’s Eva, the one who told you my whereabouts. She insists that I’m selling myself to pay off debts and is trying to ruin my reputation at the company, so I told her you’re my boyfriend. You’re pursuing me, using a different approach."
"She refuses to believe, so I need you to come pick me up after work to prove it."
