Chapter 30: Just go ahead and mess around
Old Mr. Gardiner gave him a sidelong glance: "Do as you see fit."
This time Florence Fuller, after falling into the water, unsurprisingly, got sick.
After dinner, she even drank a cup of ginger tea to dispel the cold, but at night, she developed a high fever.
Feeling unwell, she slept unexpectedly deeply and dreamt of that accident.
It was her third year back with the Fuller Family, at the age of eighteen.
Behind the Fuller Family’s villa, there was a swimming pool, adjacent to a large green lawn, which had comfortable sun loungers and parasols. Florence sometimes liked to lie there and sunbathe.
Whenever she was relaxing, there was always someone who would come to make trouble for her.

From the day she returned, it was clear that Clara didn’t like her. She made a huge fuss at the Fuller Family, threatening to run away from home.
How could Laura Yates allow that? Before the returning biological daughter could even settle in, Laura quickly appeased Clara first.
Returning to the Fuller Family, her status was insignificant, nowhere near Clara’s, nor could she match Clara’s social skills.
