Chapter 12: Mother
Two figures streaked in the air with inhuman speed. The leading one was a massive dragon with crimson scales, while the chasing one was a beautiful woman clad in golden armor.
Rodriguz flew as fast as he could while turning around to attack Chloe from time to time.
He breathed fire and casted fireballs to slow her down.
He knew that his fire had no effect on the beautiful woman, but wounding her wasn’t what he aimed for. He wanted to distract her with momentary attacks to get out of the situation he found himself in.
’I have to get out of here. Who would have thought that a being as powerful as this was guarding the northern kingdom? I can’t kill her, but if I could return to my father, he could kill her.’
Rodriguz turned around mid-air and attacked the beautiful woman one last time. Then he used the few seconds of respite to dash toward the massive mountain chain.
He flew as fast as he could, and he was about to get away, but he didn’t. After all, he was facing a being created by two Gods.
Rodriguz stopped mid-air after seeing Chloe floating in front of him. Fear gripped his heart as a shiver ran down his spine. He gulped and turned around to see another Chloe flying toward him with a jian made out of fire in her hand.
’Huh? Wha? Th-There are two of her, but how?’
He snapped his neck to see the other Chloe also lunging at him with an axe made out of fire.
’Shit, I have to do something.’
