In the instant the illusory text appeared, everything around seemed to slow down, Fisher’s eyes trembled slightly, yet his thoughts accelerated as if some device for enhancing the speed of thinking had been activated.
Then, those illusory texts swiftly flowed, gradually transforming into the entire sequence he had just witnessed of the Cloud Cat Species, only in much finer detail than the fleeting glimpse he had before.
The bustling crowd around him turned into shadowy figures, and the entire street seemed to contain only the departing Cloud Cat Species girl and Fisher, who was observing her. The presence of all other people felt infinitely diminished.
Fisher’s gaze swept over to see the girl’s pale face with hardly any fur, but her features were very soft, as harmless and adorable as gummy candy, and it was only on her arms, cradling the bread, where you could see some fluffy white fur.
From any angle, she seemed to be nothing more than a demi-human maid working at some cafe, nothing special.
