Chapter 157 - 65. Water Flow_3
"We are from the Third Street Centipede Party," he warned. "Don’t stick your nose where it doesn’t belong. This is between us and that woman; if you yap any more, I’ll..."
Before he could finish, Fisher raised his left hand and delivered a fierce smack to his face. The enormous force spread from his face to his body, spinning him midair before he crashed to the ground, several teeth escaping the confines of his gums and flying far with the blood. He lay sprawled on the ground, seeing stars and hearing ringing in his ears, still not realizing what had happened.
The young toughs behind him turned pale as they looked towards Fisher with a slight chill in his demeanor, clearly frightened.
Fisher had seen it all before; these young kids were not really gang members. He had come to recognize the gangs of Nali when he assisted the police with cases at the station.
These kids didn’t understand anything; they were just clumsily adopting the survival ways of the gangs, given their youth.
Even if Fisher hadn’t intervened, it probably wouldn’t have been long before the real gang came to clean up these brats causing trouble.
"Listen up," Fisher said. "Meg has nothing to do with that deadbeat who overdosed and ran away. There’s a debtor for every debt, and if you dare come around causing trouble again, I’ll dismember you and sell your limbs as pig feed on a farm."
"Get lost, you bastard... run!"
As Fisher finished his sentence, those youngsters showed no signs of reflection, merely turning their heads in panic and running, not even thinking of helping their fallen brother.
Just as Fisher had guessed, they were not true members of the gang and didn’t even dare to confront Meg’s mother, Gina. Only a naïve fool like Meg would get scared by them... but then again, if she wasn’t so foolish, she wouldn’t be silly enough to pay off the debts of a boyfriend who overdosed on drugs and fled.
