Kouhei was currently relaxing in the bathroom.

He had gone back home to the Sarushima mansion, and after arriving, he decided to take a bath. The bath at the hotel had been good too, and it had been quite spacious, but Kouhei still preferred soaking in the place where he usually took his baths. Thanks to teleportation, traveling all the way back to Japan from Italy was incredibly easy, so there was really no reason for him to put off returning home when he needed some time to himself.

For some reason, his entire body was aching.

It felt like the kind of soreness that came after a particularly stressful day, although calling what had happened merely a stressful day was probably an understatement. There had been too many things happening one after another, and Kouhei could feel the accumulated exhaustion settling into his body.

He really needed to rest.

Although he had already rested after having sex with Aegis and Petra, that entire situation had been stressful in its own way, so it was hardly enough to make him feel completely refreshed. If anything, the events had left him even more mentally exhausted than before.

Kouhei let out a long sigh as he leaned back against the edge of the bath.

Truthfully, he had not wanted to use Love Link with Aegis and Petra either.

He did not want to have sex with just anyone without having genuine feelings for them. If he was going to do something like that, he wanted it to be with someone he actually had feelings for, rather than because he had been influenced by drugs or some other external factor.

That was the part that bothered him the most.

He understood why it had happened, and he understood that there had been a reason behind everything, but understanding something logically did not automatically make him feel comfortable about it. The whole situation had happened because they needed to save Kozue, yet Kouhei still could not completely shake the uncomfortable feeling that came with knowing he had done something he normally would have wanted to share only with someone he genuinely cared about.

Still, it had been something that needed to be done in order to save Kozue, and the others understood that as well. They knew why Kouhei had gone through with it, even if understanding the reason did not necessarily make the situation any easier for them to accept.

Kouhei could not help but sigh again.

Hina, in particular, had been extremely pissed off, and honestly, Kouhei could hardly blame her. Someone had essentially walked in, casually taken her man away, and dragged him into a situation like that. From her perspective, getting angry about it was completely understandable.

Yuuka, Nagisa, Misuzu, and Yumi had not exactly said anything that openly showed how pissed they were, but Kouhei could tell that they were bothered by it too. They had mostly kept their feelings to themselves, yet that did not mean they were completely fine with what had happened.

Kouhei knew them well enough to understand that silence did not always mean acceptance. Sometimes it simply meant that someone was choosing not to start an argument because they knew there was already enough going on.

Thinking about it now, Kouhei realized that he regretted the whole situation more than he had initially admitted.

He had been so focused on solving the immediate problem that he had not really stopped to think about how everyone else would feel afterward. It was easy to tell himself that the situation had been necessary, but the people around him were not machines that could simply switch their emotions off whenever something became necessary.

"I should probably talk to them about this more carefully," Kouhei muttered to himself. "I don’t want to keep disappointing them."

He lowered his head slightly and allowed the warm water to cover more of his body.

For the moment, he simply wanted to stop thinking about everything.

The warmth of the bath was helping, although his thoughts were still refusing to cooperate. Whenever he managed to push one problem out of his mind, another one immediately took its place. Kozue was still the biggest concern, followed by everything involving the faction, the people around him, and the fact that his own body seemed determined to remind him that he had not exactly been having a relaxing day.

Kouhei closed his eyes for a moment.

Maybe Yuuna was right.

Maybe he really did need to rest once in a while.

While he was taking his bath, the bathroom door suddenly opened.

"Kouhei-kun."

The familiar voice immediately caught his attention.

Kouhei looked toward the entrance and saw Yuuna standing there. She was wearing nothing except a towel wrapped around her body, and judging by her appearance, it seemed that she had come there intending to take a bath with him.

"Y-Yuuna-san?"

Kouhei looked somewhat confused by her sudden appearance.

"Sorry, did I disturb you?" Yuuna asked. "You seemed like you were trying to rest."

"N-No, you didn’t disturb me," Kouhei replied, shaking his head. "Anyway, more importantly, why are you here?"

"Well, I wanted to take a bath together with you," she said naturally. "Is that fine?"

Kouhei paused for a moment.

There did not seem to be any reason for him to completely shut her down, especially since Yuuna had not done anything wrong. Besides, having someone familiar around might actually help him relax a little more.

"It’s fine," Kouhei said with a small nod.

Yuuna smiled before letting the towel covering her body fall away.

Her figure was immediately exposed, and Kouhei’s eyes instinctively widened slightly. Seeing her perfect body was enough to make him feel something rising again, and it certainly was not because of the temperature of the bathroom or the warmth of the bathwater.

Kouhei quickly tried to ignore the reaction.

He had already spent enough time dealing with unexpected situations today, and the last thing he wanted was for his body to start creating another problem for him while he was supposed to be resting. Unfortunately, his body had apparently decided that his opinion was optional.

Yuuna walked over to the bath and lowered herself into the hot water beside him. The moment the warmth seeped into her body, she released a quiet sigh of relief.

"Having such a good bath in the mansion every once in a while feels really nice, doesn’t it?" she said while settling herself comfortably. "It seems like it has been quite a while since I last took a bath here."

Kouhei nodded slightly.

"Yeah, it really has been a while," he replied. "I suppose I’ve been moving around too much lately."

"You definitely have been," Yuuna answered with a small laugh. "Sometimes I wonder if you even remember that you are allowed to sit down."

Kouhei gave her a tired look.

"That sounds a little unfair."

"Perhaps, but you know I’m right."

Yuuna shifted closer before resting her head against Kouhei’s shoulder.

Kouhei could feel the weight of her head against him, but he did not mind it at all. Instead, he welcomed the closeness. Having Yuuna beside him like this somehow made it much easier for him to relax, almost as though the tension that had been sitting on his shoulders for hours was finally beginning to disappear.

He quietly looked at the water for a while.

There was something strangely comforting about the silence between them. He did not have to explain anything immediately, and Yuuna did not force him to talk before he was ready. She simply stayed there beside him, allowing him to enjoy the quiet without making him feel guilty for taking a break.

"You are extremely tired right now, aren’t you, Kouhei-kun?" Yuuna asked.

"Well..."

Kouhei hesitated.

He was extremely tired, that much was obvious, but his exhaustion was still not enough to make him stop searching for something that could help with Kozue’s situation.

Kozue was currently frozen in time.

Technically, time was not an immediate concern while she remained frozen like that, but Kouhei still had no idea how long the condition would last. He did not want Kozue to remain trapped in that state indefinitely, unable to move forward while everyone else continued living around her.

That was why he kept looking for a way to cure her.

"It’s fine to rest every once in a while, you know?" Yuuna said gently. "You don’t always have to be doing something. Sometimes you can simply relax your body and let yourself breathe for a while. Nobody is going to get angry at you for doing that."

"I know, but..." Kouhei replied, his voice becoming quieter.

"You are really burdening yourself with a lot of work when, in fact, you can burden us too, you know?" Yuuna continued. "It’s not like you are solely responsible for everything concerning us just because you are the head of our faction. You have people around you who are willing to help."

Kouhei looked at her quietly.

"And besides," Yuuna added with a small smile, "you can rest on my shoulder too, just like I am resting on yours right now. It’s actually pretty comfortable."

As she said that, Yuuna straightened herself up, shifting her position so that Kouhei could rest against her shoulder instead.

Kouhei hesitated briefly before eventually doing exactly that.

His head rested against Yuuna’s shoulder, and the warmth of the bath combined with her presence made his body relax almost immediately.

"It’s pretty comfortable, right?" Yuuna asked with a smile.

"Yeah," Kouhei admitted quietly. "It is."

"You know, I really do love how hardworking you are," Yuuna continued. "However, it also pains me to see you acting as though you are responsible for all of us simply because you are the head of our faction."

She paused for a moment before continuing in a softer voice.

"You don’t have to carry everything by yourself, Kouhei-kun. If it helps, we would be more than willing to help you ease that burden."

Kouhei remained silent for a moment.

He knew Yuuna was right.

Perhaps that was what he had been forgetting.

He had become so focused on finding an answer for Kozue that he had started treating everything else as something he needed to handle personally. Even though there were people around him who were willing to help, he kept trying to carry the responsibility himself.

Yuuna seemed to notice his silence.

"Burdening yourself like this isn’t good," she said quietly. "But if you insist on carrying such a heavy burden, then isn’t it only fair that we have the right to help ease it for you?"

As she said that, Yuuna’s hand slowly moved downward and touched Kouhei’s dick, wrapping her hand around the length of his cock.
