Kingdom of Corrosion

Chapter 1012 - 438: Immense Wealth

Lin Wu winced at the pain in his body as he watched one zombie after another plummet in front of him. The rate at which they fell was as if they were dumplings being dropped into boiling water—a considerable speed. No sooner had one left than another entered.

The Titan appeared, landing on the fourth carriage. It couldn’t get in, but that didn’t stop it from hopping on the carriage. Zombies can’t unscrew the couplings between carriages, but could they trample them apart? Theoretically, it’s nearly impossible since those couplings are very sturdy, but it’s unclear if they could be deformed, and if so, how badly.

The Titan jumped for a minute, causing Lin Wu to ache all over, and then it left, followed by more "dumplings." This time an Exploding Carnage arrived, its belly too large to fit through the door got sliced open by a protruding part of the doorway and with a bang exploded, shaking the carriage. The poisonous gas spread out but didn’t reach Lin Wu.

A single carriage measured 23 meters, which also explained why the suiciding zombies were falling too fast and couldn’t attack Lin Wu. He was still 15 meters above the ice, and this height was beyond the stackable limit of zombies piling on top of one another—in any case, beyond a certain height, the pile would inevitably collapse unless a mountain of bodies formed. However, the ice surface battered by artillery could not bear such weight, which made for a rather awkward situation for the zombies.

They surrounded the despicable human with an overwhelming advantage, but they just couldn’t kill him.

With each zombie that smacked down onto the ice, cracks began to form. With the temperature at minus ten degrees, the ice was bound to break into holes eventually.

Once Lin Wu fully grasped his situation, he breezily began to sing: "The World’s Number One Wait."

And after Lin Wu figured things out, Dawn became unsettled. After all, the intelligent zombies had limited wisdom; they could only drive hordes of zombies and lacked the ability to use tools. Watching the zombies trying to bungee jump without ropes, Little White Rabbit approached Lin Wu for negotiations: "Your performance is so impressive that I’ve decided to grant you another round of artillery fire."
