Chapter 414: The Calm Before the Storm
When I woke up three days after our battle with Drakzen in the north, I spoke with all of our allies, who brought me up to speed with the devils’ actions.
All of the countries around the world were preparing to go to war with G’Henna’s forces, which they had been arranging ever since the war in the north began.
It was thanks to Sage Astra that the countries were able to prepare so quickly. After her crystal ball showed a massive war that would be fought on obsidian grounds, she knew that the battle in the north wouldn’t be the end of the ordeal with the devils.
While Astra had no way of knowing where the war would take place since she couldn’t recognize the land in her vision of the future, she theorized that a new continent would appear sooner or later.
The closest countries to G’Henna were the Sephyr Kingdom, The Northern Empire, Kyotora, Guanghua, and Eldariel.
The countries on the eastern continent had gathered their forces on the coasts of Kyotora and Guanghua, even the troops of Balinesia and Vista, who were the furthest away from the devils’ continent.
On the coasts of the Sephyr Kingdom, the armies of the Droman Empire, Aridonia, and Kalusia gathered there to travel to G’Henna as a massive group.
The only country that was lacking in its defenses was the Northern Empire, which made sense as we had just finished a war. Still, the Vikings from the north were eager to go to battle.
After catching up with everyone’s activities, Melina and I returned to End Town using the magic quartz—and, of course, our companions went back with us.
When we arrived, a few of the villagers approached us to greet us, as it had been some time since we were there.
The entire world was aware of the events that happened in the north after Sage Louie made a worldwide broadcast of the war, so the people at End Town were sympathetic to us.
