Chapter 196: A Teacher’s Reputation (Part 2)
After teaching my last class of the day, which was coincidentally Melina’s lesson, she came to me full of questions, which I already expected.
Luca was also part of that class and approached me with curiosity, so I told them that I had a deal with the headmaster that I would teach for one year in exchange for letting Melina skip the last few months of the previous one.
Of course, Melina knew all my qualifications, but Luca still couldn’t comprehend how someone his age had already become a professor.
"C-can I inspect you?" he asked with a hint of frustration in his voice.
"Sure..." I replied, censoring the important details again.
Still, some of my other skills and titles were impressive enough that people didn’t even notice the black lines blocking the words.
For whatever reason, Luca seemed impressed at first but then tried hiding his anger.
"Umm, are you okay?" I asked, noticing the guy grinding his teeth.
"I-I’m fine..." he replied, waving his hand and leaving the classroom.
Melina and I stayed in the room for a bit longer as she kept asking me questions.
"Are you staying at the professors’ tower?"
