Chapter 62: Revelation on how they reproduce
Julian’s mind was still swimming in the aftermath of the brutal history he had just seen. Blood. Screams. Rolling heads. Sisters crying as they watched their brothers killed by their mothers.
He stopped thinking at this point, trying to process what he had just thought.
He opened his eyes; closing them for so long in the act of staring at his food was way, well...,too long. He was sure they would be suspecting something.
But as his question echoed again in his head—how the hell do they reproduce?
Rehul grinned at him; she was just gulping a glass of wine two seconds ago.
The soldiers faced each other, talking, laughing, and merrying. They didn’t act like they gave a fuck about their friends that had been murdered in the battle.
They were seemingly unperturbed, unbothered, just keen on having a good time.
Julian decided to look behind him; tall, brawny-looking guards stood by the door. They weren’t even looking at him. Well, they might have been, but then it wasn’t right into his face. They were just looking straight forward, intent on nothing in particular.
Julian shrugged, it didn’t even look like he moved his shoulders. They were doing alright, he decided.
He decided to close his eyes again and find out how they reproduced.
To be honest, he almost didn’t want to know. It seemed daunting to think about it, talk less of actually seeing it.
