Chapter 468: Take his beast?
After standing near the balcony for some time, Elliana turned around and walked to her closet.
She looked at the ancient book, contemplating taking it out and reading a few more spells to strengthen her powers.
It wasn’t like she could change what she was, and since she wasn’t changing, she better become the best at what she was.
She needed to become stronger to be able to lift Mr. Marino’s curse, and for that, it was important for her to have knowledge of everything related to her species and the powers that resided inside her.
She was about to place her hand on the book to pull it out, knowing all too well that Mr. Marino would be busy again like always because of the ceremony nearing when she heard some distant footsteps, and she hurriedly closed the hidden chamber before closing the closet.
She turned around to hurriedly go to the bed to make it look less suspicious, but as soon as she turned around, her foot got entangled with the carpet and she fell forward.
Shockingly, her powers created an ice shield to protect her, making her widen her eyes.
’Damn it, make it disappear. Do you want me to get caught?’ Elliana cussed loudly and used the fire in her hand to melt the ice instead, without even caring about the fact that she was still leaning on it.
Thus, as soon as the ice melted, she fell on the floor on the wet surface with a thud.
The door of the room opened and Sebastian walked in, looking at his princess with quirked brows.
"What are you doing on the ground, Princess?" He asked, an amused smile on his face that was hidden by his mask, and Elliana smiled bitterly.
