Chapter 347: The greatest lies of all time
"This has to be a joke. There is no way this is true!" Nathaniel roared, practically breaking the tomb.
Pluto thinned his lips. He could see the truth in front of him, but it was obvious that speaking about it would only hurt Nathaniel more.
It was shocking, surprising, unbelievable, unexpected, or whatever that defined their state of mind right now.
"Nathaniel, calm down. This is not the time to -" Pluto started, but rather than listening to him, Nathaniel grabbed the upper marble of the tomb and used his powers to break it into tiny pieces.
He looked at the coffin in front of him, his gaze turning dark with each passing second. Though he was angry and everything, anyone could see he was trembling inside. He opened it, wanting to confirm his suspicion even when he knew it was the truth.
Pluto also paused. They looked at the thing inside the coffin before Pluto turned to face Nathaniel.
He didn’t blame him. Anyone was supposed to act like that when faced with things like this.
The coffin was empty, with only a few dry flowers lying at the bottom of it.
"What is this?" Pluto expressed his surprise before looking at Nathaniel, who was seething already.
This wasn’t good. A witch as powerful as him shouldn’t become so angry.
"Hey, let’s not jump to conclusions. Maybe the body decayed? It has been around 19 years, no? Maybe something happened to -" Pluto started but stopped when Nathaniel moved again.
