Chapter 346: A little forgiveness
In the Creta regions of the Silver Moon mountains, Nathaniel sat in one of the rooms of the magical castle that was created by one of the witches there.
He smoked the herbs that were used to replenish their Magna while relieving their stress at the same time.
"Are you sure about it? In our 16 years of acquaintance-ship, since you won’t call it friendship, I haven’t heard you talk about him after that dreaded night," The man in front of him asked, Nathaniel looked out of the window with his legs plopped on the table in front of him.
He sighed.
He knew it was shocking for his so-called friend.
Heck, if he was the same person as a month ago, and someone would’ve told him he would be deciding this, Nathaniel would’ve burnt that man for even spouting this kind of nonsense.
"I know, right? It’s amazing how a little truth about your life that has been kept hidden from you can change you so much," Nathaniel looked at the paperweight in his hand as he played with it.
His friend, one of the eleventh-level witches looked at him, aware of all the turmoil that was going on inside the mixed-breed prince.
It wasn’t something anyone would take easily. People, his level, rain havoc when they find out something this heart-wrenching.
"I loathed him all my life, not even wanting to see his face. He ruined my life. That’s what I thought, and even when he wasn’t alive, he ruined my love life. So why shouldn’t I loathe him?" Nathaniel scoffed before putting his cigar in the ashtray and grabbing the drink in front of them instead.
"I came up with all the reasons that I could, to hate him, but in the end, one thing still overshadowed it. He loved us. No matter what kind of fate he or we met, he loved us truly and wanted nothing more than a happy life," Nathaniel let out a drawn-out sigh.
