"What was that, sir?" Lucas finally gathered the courage to ask his prince.
"What was what?" Sebastian raised his brows.
"The dance with the princess. Was it okay to risk her identity like this? You know how people will start targeting her if they hear she is your wife," Lucas reminded him of the reason why they agreed to hide her identity in the first place.
"I know that. That’s the reason I had my back to the others the entire time. It’s not like they can recognize me at a masquerade party," Sebastian said.
"Your aura is enough to tell everyone who you are. We just got lucky this time and nothing else," Lucas said, and Sebastian narrowed his eyes, not liking the way Lucas was talking.
"Why are you making it sound like I made some mistake? She is my wife. If people would know, they would know. I will send more security for her," Sebastian paused and looked at Lucas, who gulped.
This was the first time his prince sounded so possessive of the princess, and as much as Lucas wanted to be happy about it, for some reason, the dark expression in Sebastian’s eyes didn’t settle well with him.
Something was bothering his prince, and it was clear.
"Young Prince, can we have a chat in my office?" The principal asked, and Sebastian hummed.
"So? Are you going to tell me why my wife was attacked at the university premises, and there are no records or mentions of it? Where are the boys?" Sebastian asked.
