Chapter 52: Take advantage of him
After a few minutes, the car finally pulled into the driveway of the palace, and Sebastian looked at the sleeping girl before pinching the bridge of his nose.
Why does it feel like it has become his job to carry this sleeping princess all the time?
He walked to the other side of the car and picked her up gently, his gaze stopping at her innocent face before he pressed her closer to his chest.
Miss Zoya immediately rushed out to greet the princess, excited to know all about her day and the new friends she must’ve made, and the chef went out of the kitchen to ask if the princess wanted to eat something. However, when they saw the prince entering the palace with her sleeping in his arms, they were disappointed.
Miss Zoya greeted the prince and was about to turn and leave when she gazed at the princess’s attire, and her eyes narrowed.
"Prince Sebastian, when did you buy these clothes for the princess?" Miss Zoya asked.
Though the princess looked good in this type of clothing, as far as she remembered, this wasn’t what the princess usually wore.
She walked to the couple and noticed the handprints on her neck before she sniffed the princess’s hair. Her hair didn’t smell like the hair product she had bought for the princess only, and it felt like they were washed just a couple of hours ago.
The smell was a complete contrast.
Miss Zoya looked at the princess’s slightly pale face before she grabbed the princess’s hand and looked at her knuckles. As she had guessed, they were indeed red and swollen.
Miss Zoya’s eyes dilated slightly before she looked at the prince for answers.
