"Oh her? Yeah... She's definitely going to kill me after she finds out."
He left the ruined office room, strolling through the dim glow of Metro City's night. The streets pulsed with a strange kind of life—each futuristic lamppost flickering through shifting arrays of color, casting restless patterns that danced across the slick pavement like memories trying to forget themselves.
His uniform was torn, dirty, and tattered from the dungeon raid earlier.
"Damn it... Mom's gonna flip her switch when she sees me like this, system, is there any clothes in the store by any chance?"
[Yes master, there's a variety of clothes to choose from in the store. Would you like to access them?]
"Yes."
The system showed a range of clothing options, and after checking his remaining points, he chose to buy black pants, a black hooded jacket, and a white shirt.
"Alright, all set."
He arrived home late, not realizing that time flowed differently inside the dungeon. What felt like just one hour of clearing floors and slaying beasts had stretched into four hours in the real world.
By the time he arrived home, the clock had already struck 7:30 p.m. As he turned the knob and stepped into the house, he found his mother seated directly in front of the door, legs crossed, with a steaming cup of tea cradled in her hands.
