Elize raised an eyebrow and asked "Did you really think that you could hide your side chick from me?"
Brandon smiled wryly and glanced away "Well... Aunt Elize. It’s not like I was trying to hide it."
She tilted her head slightly "It hasn’t even been 3 months since your breakup and now you got two girlfriends?"
He scratched his neck, a bit flustered by her question "They both love me.. and I also love them, so..."
Humming under her breath, she let out a deep sigh "I am just worried about you, dear. If some other woman breaks your heart again..."
Brandon’s expression softened, a faint smile tugging at his lips as he looked at her "Don’t worry, Aunt Elize... it won’t happen again."
He reached up, covering her hand with his own hand before giving it a gentle squeeze as if to reassure her.
Elize’s lips curved into a small, affectionate smile, and she leaned forward, closing the small distance between them.
She pressed a soft peck to his lips, "Even if something like that happens, I will be here for you." she murmured against his lips.
Brandon’s gaze softened further, his eyes locking onto hers as a wave of warmth spread through him.
He leaned in, kissing her again and his lips moved gently against hers, softly sucking on her lower lip, savoring the familiar comfort of her presence.
