Chapter 26: The Princess
A worn down house stands before me and I can only imagine what awaits me inside of it, the princess needs someone to save her though.
Kick. He kicks the door open with ease and enters the house. The inside was clearly abandoned, no one appeared to be living here anymore.
The house was abandoned by anyone who previously lived there but something was off about the whole place. Things were thrown around and one singular bookshelf was left in the corner of the room.
A secret entrance awaits me after all? Adding more to my list of stupid things I've found in this world so far. A secret entrance to some sort of tunnel right? He starts grabbing everything on the bookshelf to see if it activates anything.
Eventually he hears something click before the bookshelf begins to move out of the way.
I knew this was definitely the way to go, time to find the princess. He begins to walk through the long corridor, taking in everything he sees as he looks around.
The walls were old and the tunnel doesn't seem like it was used in quite some time. It was definitely strange for them to use it now of all times.
Killing noble families, trying to resurrect the goddess of death, and now abducting a princess of a kingdom like Avania— There's quite a lot of questions to be answered here.
This is just going to cause a lot of issues for them so why would they want to put themselves in the spotlight?
