Chapter 89: Adam’s Team 1
After catching his breath, Lux prepared to depart. As he checked his smart bracelet, the score displayed [272]. They had previously divided the monsters equally, so four orcs should have netted them 20 points. However, the total had risen to 22, clearly indicating that the mutated orc he had just slain had contributed an impressive 7 points.
"Not bad!" Lux chuckled, feeling a surge of satisfaction as he made his way toward the princess. They needed to continue their hunt, and he noted that Nero’s team still held first place with a score of [291].
Upon joining the princess, he explained his recent encounter with the mutated orc.
"Tch! How unlucky. I would have loved to fight it," she replied, her desire for stronger monsters unrelenting.
Without wasting any more time, the duo pressed deeper into the forest, eager to continue their quest.

In the southern hemisphere of the ancient forest, Adam’s team found themselves surrounded by fifteen Red goblins, their menacing cackles echoing through the trees.
Adam’s expression was serious as he gripped a giant hammer that was nearly bigger than himself. His brown eyes narrowed dangerously, assessing the threat before him. Without hesitation, he stepped forward, channeling the Law of Earth. Gravity intensified around him, and the nearest red goblins suddenly experienced a suffocating sensation, as if they had been plunged into muddy water. Disoriented and unable to respond properly, they were easy targets as Adam charged at them, swinging his hammer with devastating force.
With each swing, the ground trembled beneath him. The hammer connected with a goblin, and the creature was sent flying, its body crumpling under the sheer weight of the blow. Adam continued to advance, using the Law of Earth to manipulate the terrain around him. As he struck the ground, spikes of earth erupted, impaling any goblin that dared to come too close. He moved with precision, each movement deliberate, the weight of his weapon complemented by the power of the earth itself.
