REINCARNATION OF THE STRONGEST WAR HERO

Chapter 345 345: One Against Seven

Thud!

Logan's body slammed into the ground and slid several meters, dust erupting along the way.

The members of the spirit families quickly moved to both sides, creating distance. They knew Logan was fighting on their side, yet the chilling aura surrounding him was simply too terrifying to endure. Moreover, the way he was killing his enemies without hesitation — without even bothering to listen to anyone — made them uneasy. What if, in that frenzy, he accidentally killed one of them?

What they didn't know was that Logan could sense the foul aura carried by the members of the Evil Spirit Families. Because of the things they worshipped — things they never should have — something tainted lingered within their auras. It was faint, barely noticeable to ordinary cultivators. But for Logan, it was more than enough.

In his previous life, he had fought countless battles. On top of that, he had recently begun learning Spirit Zone from Audrey. Although he had not mastered it yet, it still granted him a sharp edge in sensing the energy around him. So he could easily identify who was from the evil spirit families and who wasn't.

Meanwhile, the members of the evil spirit families gathered on the opposite side. Out of their twelve Martial Sovereigns, five had already fallen. The remaining forces — seven martial sovereigns, nineteen martial emperors, along with numerous martial saints and martial kings began grouping together.

Their defeat was now almost inevitable. Not only had they lost their advantage in numbers — they were now the outnumbered side.

Logan pressed his palm against the ground and lifted his head before slowly pushing himself to his feet. "That punch was brutal, though," he muttered, wiping the blood from the corner of his lips. "One more like that, and my internal organs will surely be damaged."

Hueng Long and Feng Dao quickly rushed toward Logan. "Young Master, are you alright?" Hueng Long shouted before he had even reached Logan.

Logan brushed the dust off his clothes and replied calmly, "I'm fine. Don't worry."

"You may be fine now, Young Master," Hueng Long said anxiously as he arrived, "but you shouldn't fight like that. It's too reckless. Let us help you. I know you are strong, young master. But better safe than sorry."

"I know," Logan replied with a faint smile. "But I still don't know where my limits lie now. So I want to see how long I can hold them off on my own. When I feel like I've reached my limit, I won't hesitate to ask for help."

Logan's realm had not increased, but his strength certainly had — far beyond imagination. Yet there was still no trace of arrogance in him.

After saying that, Logan turned toward the members of the spirit families before slowly beginning to walk forward.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Each step echoed across the battlefield like the tolling of a judgment bell for the members of the evil spirit families.

Instinctively, they took a step back. Their grips tightened around their weapons.

And then…

It began.

Logan's figure suddenly blurred from where he stood, lunging straight toward the enemies.

Tian Shin had no desire to fight, but at this point, he had no choice. "Don't think we're afraid of you just because you got lucky with a few surprise attacks!" Tian Shin shouted.

Yet the sweat dripping down his forehead betrayed the confidence in his words.

Logan appeared before them in the blink of an eye and swung his sword. The seven martial sovereigns stood at the front. All of them reacted instantly.

A martial sovereign raised his sword to block — Tian Shin, who stood at the center. The other six moved at the same time, unleashing their strongest techniques.

"Heaven-Splitting Punch!"

"Demon Strike!"

"Ninefold Attack — Eighth Form!"

Three of them shouted their techniques as they struck. The other three simply pointed the tips of their weapons toward Logan, spiritual energy gathering rapidly, ready to annihilate anything in front of them.

But before those six could release their attacks…

Before Tian Shin could push his sword forward to block Logan's strike…

They saw two golden eyes.

"Don't move."

The words reached their ears before Logan's blade could reach their bodies.

Instantly, five of them froze. Their attacks halted mid-motion. Their defenses stopped abruptly, as if time itself had been cut off.

But one fist still shot forward — slower than before, yet still filled with terrifying, destructive power.

At the same time, the tip of another's sword released a beam of spiritual energy.

Whoosh!

Thud!

At the last moment, three layers of ice walls suddenly materialized before Logan, taking the full force of the attacks. Logan had instinctively summoned his ice magic.

The spiritual beam melted straight through the center of the ice walls, while the incoming punch shattered the remaining layers.

"Tch." The word slipped from Logan's mouth as he barely managed to raise Audrey.

Boom!

In the next moment, Logan was sent flying backward, coughing up another mouthful of blood. "Five… martial sovereigns. That's the current limit of how many I can bend with my dragon's glare," Logan whispered while still mid-air.

The five martial sovereigns finally regained control of their bodies.

"What the hell was that?" one of them blurted out as he collapsed to his knees. "It felt like I was an ant standing before a hawk, waiting to be swallowed whole."

"Y-yes… I couldn't move a single inch. What kind of monstrous ability is that?" another added.

Their faces looked as if they had just returned from meeting the Grim Reaper.

Meanwhile, Logan thrust his hand toward the earth, releasing a powerful gust of wind that flipped his body mid-air.

He pivoted smoothly and landed back on the ground.

Smoke rose from Audrey as Logan felt numbness spreading through the hand gripping the sword.

Many clenched their jaws in worry, while others stood with their mouths hanging open in awe.

"A martial saint… against seven martial sovereigns!" Lin Dao murmured in a daze from where she stood in the distance. "Yet he still didn't fall."

Her heart began pounding wildly. It felt as if everything else around her had faded away.

Only a boy — one even younger than her — stood there with a sword in hand, shining like a star on the battlefield.
