Chapter 87: A familiar language.
There, on the wall, written in a straight line, were some strange symbols.
Sylus paid attention to it for a while, and then he looked towards the other wall, and the same thing was written there.
’No way...’
Without saying anything, Sylus took a couple of steps back, creating just enough distance that he could fully see the very top of the cave.
Thanks to his enhanced vision, he could clearly see that the same language was written at the very top as well.
"You have to be kidding me..." Sylus chuckled nervously.
"Is something wrong, my lord?" Velden turned to Sylus.
Sylus pointed at the wall, towards where the writing was, and then asked,
"Are you familiar with what is written there?"
Confused, the man turned to check.
Seeing the writing Sylus was talking about, Velden immediately understood what Sylus was asking about.
"Oh, that. There have been people from the Mage Association who have come here to do some research on the writings. They believed it was a hidden language from the old world, when gods and demons roamed the earth. Though they were unfortunately never able to translate it, so they pretty much gave up on it."
