The Royal Revenge

All of the vampires inside the throne room turned their heads towards the young man that entered unceremoniously. He raised brows of incredulity, while others had their mouths lifted in a curious smirk. Who was he and why did the bastard king seem to have been shocked by his appearance?

Sir Noa... not many were those that knew his identity. Who he was and what he does, where he came from and why he had tried to get an audience with the vampire king in the very last minute.

Elysianne gave Sir Noa a once-over, trying to gauge his stand and his general appearance. He did not seem to have brought anything aside from himself. Not a bag or a document – Sir Noa just brought himself.

She reached out to tug her husband’s hand and mouthed, ’Calm down. Get everyone out.’

"Everybody, out right now!" Aleksander immediately ordered.

The nobilities of the High Court were intrigued by what seemed like fluster in Aleksander’s eyes. They slowly filed out of the throne room, and even Henry and Cordelia were ordered out.

The only ones left inside the throne room right then were the king, his queen, and the mysterious guest who sought Aleksander’s audience.

By the time the doors were closed with an ominous thud, Sir Noa turned his full attention towards the royal couple sitting regally in their thrones.

"I never thought that the two of you would be the ones sitting there as I visited the Western Kingdom today," Sir Noa noted, amusement twinkling in his eyes.

Elys noted the words he had said. So, the Eastern Kingdom had not heard news of King Raxus and Queen Zephyrine’s untimely and mysterious deaths?
