The Royal Revenge

Chapter 88: Escape the Eastern Kingdom

When he was finally done, Aleksander withdrew himself from Elys, licking his lips as he savored the tiny drops of blood from deeper cuts he tried to heal.

The princess’ arm was now almost fully healed. Save from the deepest cut on her right shoulder that needed more than just vampire saliva, everything else were as if the wounds weren’t there in the first place.

Vampire saliva was very potent for minor injuries, but it would take more than just licking or even spitting a wad of saliva at a bigger wound for it to heal.

"Is this some sort of apology without words?" Elys asked as she stared at her pale arm that was now fully healed.

Aleksander almost took a double take. His face was flushed with embarrassment, and Elys could see him blush like he was sunburnt. The prince’s alabaster skin didn’t really make the best of colors to hide a blush at all.

The princess found herself chuckling from the bastard prince’s blunder.

"Fine then," she said as she stood up, "I will accept this apology for the meantime you sort your pride out."

The princess walked away from Aleksander, and he watched her as she went towards Cordelia.

"Bandage this for me, Cordelia," Elys said as she handed over the extra pieces of fabric she cut off into strips with her dagger. "Make sure to cover what is needed, and make it quick."
