Chapter 229: Ice Breaker
"What’s wrong?" asked Denise who noticed her husband’s sudden change of expressions and his bloodthirsty aura.
Ryu and Dean also looked as Shawn as soon as they heard Denise spoke.
"He has Jo..." Shawn muttered with gritted teeth as he immediately stood up.
"Brother Jo? Oh my God... He will be beaten to death if you won’t return Bro Shawn. But I thought he’s hiding and is already safe..." Rita gasped.
Shawn clenched his fist in fury, it was his fault that Jo was still roaming around in the underworld, he had tasked him with a dangerous job.
Ryu, who was already beside Shawn took his phone from his hand and watched the video.
It was a video of a man that was beaten up badly with blood oozing out from almost all over his body and there was a message saying, "If you won’t come back in here within today, then retrieve Jo’s dead body from your favorite hideout. Get your ass in here brat or I will make sure all people close to you will be gone missing one by one!"
"What do you plan to do now?" Ryu asked.
"I have to go back." Shawn answered.
