Chapter 5: The Guy You Have To Compensate
Arya arrived at the rehearsal venue two minutes earlier than the call time. "What took you so long? Hurry up and go to the backstage. Don’t give the others a bad impression of your first runway walk." Kay said frowning.
Arya laughed and said, "I was drunk last night but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I think I got the target’s attention in a very awkward way."
Kay suddenly hooked his arms around her and said, "Tell me what has happened? What do you mean?"
Arya winked and said, "I will tell you later, after the rehearsal. So, don’t scold me since I still made it on time."
Then she pulled herself out of his hands and quickly went inside. She was grinning.
Kay was a nagger, that gay was a perfectionist when it came to working, especially with matters like coming in time. She always heard him complaining whenever there was an artist, being late at the set. He hated handling tardy stars.
Kay shook his head and smiled, as he looked at Arya’s back. He was working within the entertainment industry for so long, and he could read almost all types of people.
When Rita asked him to get someone for Ryu Ken, Arya was the only fitting person he had thought of.
There was something about her that would definitely get Ryu Ken’s attention, compared to other women he knew. It was just a hunch, he was not sure if he was doing the right thing too, but one thing was for sure: it would help Arya with her current situation.
