Chapter 185: Corrupted Thoughts
"What a bunch of crocodiles!" Torin jeered as soon as they were inside their van. Mr. Big had given them a huge tariff for the drugs and illegal arms.
"The heck? Isn’t that a bit too much? That ’Big’ of a pig just tripled the price!" Torin complained as he looked at Ryu and Zach who were both just sitting there quietly. Mr. Big had justified the price increase by claiming that it was a very crucial time to get the goods that they required and the value of those goods had risen because they were in high demand.
Torin couldn’t believe that Ryu had agreed to it without batting an eye. "Money is nothing for me, I want that Old Man Skull to burn in hell," said Ryu.
"We will soon get hold of all of his dealings," Zach commented as he instructed Dumbo to drive the van out of Mr. Big’s hideout.
Inside the van, Torin elbowed Zach as he whispered, "Bro, I believe we don’t have any action planned for tomorrow, right? Can you approve my request for a day off?" Zach answered him with a simple nod and Torin almost jumped out of happiness.
"Sorry... Carry on with the silence, guys," he murmured when the other members of their team silenced him with their eyes, including Ryu and Zach. Torin scratched his head. He should just drive next time so he could sit in front with Snake aka Lieutenant Jiang, since the back of the van was just too quiet as the grave.
Zach sighed as he was sulking, thinking about Keira, whom he had been missing badly. He was thinking to drop by and see her as soon as an opportunity arose. But for now, together with Ryu, he would be very busy meeting a few other groups which are connected with Mr. Big, and Ryu’s nemesis, Old Man Skull.

Lyra cooked her dinner and sat down at the dining table to eat her food. She sighed as she would be eating alone again, because Keira was still at her office, working late. "Hmm, it’s nice that she keeps herself busy with work while big Bro is gone. She has less time to miss him and sulk in loneliness." Lyra murmured as she ate her dinner.
