Chapter 184: Messed Up Big Time
"Big Bro?" Keira was surprised when she saw the silhouette of her cousin brother Xander entering the newsroom. ’Is he looking for me? Why didn’t he call me? Wait, how come he could just enter like that?’ She mused as she followed him quickly.
Then she was reminded of something and paused upon realizing that she had mistaken Bernard, Xander’s cousin from his mother’s side, who was also his look-alike, for her cousin brother.
Keira walked inside and was amazed at the similarities of their facial features.
Although she had heard a lot about Bernard and seen him on the reality television show, ’House of Zeus’, but this was the first time that she had actually seen him in person.
"Wow, they look very serious today," she mumbled as she was looking at Bernard who appeared to be having a serious discussion with the Producer and the News Director as they entered the meeting room.
"I heard it’s about the upcoming banquet for the new sensational actress Arya Tan," commented one of their editors.
She was startled when she heard her name called by Director Holmes who then instructed her to go inside the meeting room, where she was immediately introduced to their CEO, Mr. Bernard Cooper.
"Keira will handle the live reporting of the banquet." added Director Holmes. Director Holmes, Producer Amy and her assistant were the only ones who knew about Keira’s identity.
Bernard smiled at her and said, "I look so familiar, right?"
