Chapter 148: Call Of Duty
Keira was awakened by the continuous ringing of her phone.
"Helloooo..." Keira answered sleepily.
"Hello, Miss Keira?" a woman asked from the other end of the line.
"Yes?"
"It’s nurse Jane. You gave me your calling card before. It’s about Old Master Han... The doctors are trying to revive him now..." explained the nurse. Keira had previously asked to call her should there be any news regarding the Chairman of Life Hospitals Group. Old Master Han had become ill after the death of his only granddaughter-Yera Han.
Keira was immediately wide awake and quickly got ready to go out.
She called her minions J & J because it’s too late to disturb Zach at this hour.
Torin, who just got home, saw her in the hallway.
"Hey, where are you going at this hour?" asked Torin as Keira seemed to be in a hurry.
"Call of duty, Torin. Don’t tell Zach and let him rest... I’ll go now. I’m with my bodyguards," replied Keira in a hurry as she ran towards the elevator.
Torin shook his head as he murmured, "What a hard-working woman for someone who actually doesn’t need to work."
