Oops Alpha, Wrong Luna

Chapter 38

Aria’s POV.

Celeste’s words hit me like a punch, her voice sharp and loud in the hall. "Well, guess who isn’t supposed to be Luna!" she snapped, her blue eyes glinting with hate, her jaw tight.

I squinted, my heart pounding, my hands clenching as I glared back, my wolf Kyra growling low, her anger hot in my chest.

I was pretending to be Celeste, my twin sister, the Luna of the Shadow Claw pack, hiding my real name, Aria.

Celeste was using my name, acting like Aria, and her words were a threat, a knife aimed at my heart.

The maids around us gasped, their whispers loud, their eyes wide with shock.

"She’s got no respect," one muttered, their voices turning against Celeste, thinking she was me, the now disrespectful sister.

My chest tightened, rage and fear mixing, my breath short.

The senior guard, a tall man with gray hair, pushed through the crowd, his face stern, his voice booming.

"Everyone out!" he ordered, his hand waving, his eyes hard.

The maids scurried, their footsteps quick, their whispers fading as they left the hall, the doors shutting with a heavy thud.

The room was quiet now, just me and Celeste, the air thick with tension, the tables still covered with flowers and white cloth for the charity event.
