Chapter 801: Chapter 801: Shopping
The best part was that the system allowed users to analyze the mutated beasts while fighting them.Even if someone did not know a particular beast’s weaknesses beforehand, they could gradually discover them through repeated training.
Naturally, many citizens began wondering about the source of all this information.
"If Ivy already has complete data on mutated beasts, why does she not make everything public instead of keeping the information inside the fighting pods?"
Ivy almost wanted to laugh whenever she heard such questions.
’It is not even my knowledge in the first place.’
The information had been provided by the temporal storage.
In fact, the temporal storage had even offered her an entire book containing information about the mutated beasts, including their weaknesses, habitats, and mutation processes.
However, Ivy’s expression had turned serious when she discovered certain details inside the book.
Some creatures could apparently be controlled through humans.
Others could be tamed, raised, and eventually used as assassination weapons.
There were even certain beasts that could be consumed to increase a person’s rank, although doing so could gradually corrupt the person’s mind and make them more violent and evil.
Ivy’s skin had gone cold when she realized how dangerous the information could become in the wrong hands.
Therefore, she copied the entire book into a separate modified version.
She carefully altered the dangerous information.
For example, regarding the beasts that could supposedly be tamed, she added warnings explaining that those creatures had an extremely high chance of creating powerful illusions and that humans should maintain a safe distance from them.
As for the beasts that could consume humans and potentially be used as assassination weapons, Ivy replaced the original instructions with a clear warning.
"Stay away from these creatures. Their bodies contain highly toxic substances that can be fatal."
After carefully altering the information, Ivy backed out of the file and uploaded the modified version onto the internet through her own account.
Once she finished, she slumped back into her chair.
Her body felt exhausted, and she stared blankly at the ceiling as the cool air from the ventilation system brushed against her face.
’At least this way, I can prevent someone from using that knowledge irresponsibly.’
Just as she was lost in thought, the door to her room opened. Ember and Talia walked inside together.
Both of them smiled at Ivy. "Are you done with your work?"
Ivy looked at them and smiled before nodding. "Yes, I am finally finished."
Talia immediately brightened. "Then let us go to the shopping mall."
Ivy hesitated for only a moment before nodding.
"All right, let us go."
After all, she had helped create the shopping mall with the assistance of the temporal storage.
’If I never use it myself, then what was the point of spending so much money on it?’
Once they arrived at the shopping mall, however, Ivy quickly realized that she had underestimated both Talia and Ember.
