Her eyes burned with tears, and she felt a lump in her throat. Remembering how the relatives whom she had helped time and time again refused to help her while a little child whom she had casually helped remembered her kindness, made Aunt Jun want to cry.

Yet she held it in. She was an adult. She shouldn’t cry in front of a child.

However, before she could hold back her tears, Ivy entered the apartment, closed the door, and hugged Aunt June,

"It’s alright, Aunt, I am here. Don’t cry. Everything will be good."

The constant pressure from the emerging apocalypse and the tension about the food in her house came crashing down, and Aunt June sobbed.

Her choking sound made Ivy’s heart tremble, and she couldn’t help but purse her lips in distress. She patted Aunt June’s back and soothed her.

After 10 minutes, Aunt June calmed down and pulled away with an embarrassed expression, "Ah... I will get you to drink something."

With that, she left hurriedly; however, Ivy did stop her. She was giving Aunt June a leeway.

Looking at the familiar apartment, Ivy was filled with nostalgia. She had frequently visited this place during her childhood.
