Chapter 89: Solar Stove
"Anyways. I think I would be able to do a good job." Edward continued, his voice laced with excitement.
"Alright then, I will pass on the message, at most by tomorrow you will receive an answer." Ivy vaguely replied, delighting Edward to no end.
He nodded before leaving, and he didn’t forget to pause and say softly, "Ivy, you are smart yourself, just stay away from the Ravencroft family."
"Hm." Ivy nodded her eyes, gradually turning a bit dazed. For a moment, the slightly aged man overlapped with the young man who had once tried to help her, only to be pushed away by her.
Once she returned to the military compound, it was already night. Ivy decided to visit Talia tomorrow morning.
Opening the door of the apartment, Ivy realised that the apartment was dim and there was no sign of a living person there.
It was as if Silas hadn’t returned to his apartment for the past 5 days.
Ivy walked up to the guest room and entered the room. She first took out the Ravencroft family members.
Seeing their terrified expression, she chuckled. After all, in the past 3 days, whenever she cleared out an area with zombies and lacked them, she would toss one of the Ravencroft family members out and use them to lure the zombies.
It was amusing to see them struggle and crawl away from the approaching zombies. She admitted that her sense of humor has become dark.
Noticing their environment, the Ravencroft family members heaved a sigh of relief. They never realized that staying inside a house could be so comforting.
Ivy chuckled. She wondered how they would react once they knew how, going forward, this constant fear would become their life.
