(Honestly, I wasn't expecting Doremi to just focus on that guy…. But now I have her on my ass.) – thought Thanatos.

"…And why is that?" – asked Thanatos who still held up her weapon.

"I just don't want to, okay?" – replied Doremi.

"Look, considering how I straight up encounter a number 5 master ranker, I wouldn't be surprised if there was another surprise like that waiting for me."

"I'm making sure that I will get to the next round, but I'm not also stupid enough to take on possible several master rankers all at once."

"Let the idiots kill each other, there is straight up no point in taking on that kind of risk." – said Doremi as she turned around and stared walking away.

"See ya." – said Doremi as Thanatos kept her guard up…. Until the very moment where the golden mech completely left the area.

"Huh…. You know, this is really disappointing." – said Phantasia as he was holding up by a neck a human player in knight armor while being in a ruined castle part of the map.

"I mean, weren't you supposed to be the ex-number 1 master ranker?"

"Bastard…." – said the man in armor as the two players were surrounded by the countless remains of the players, which already started the disappearing around the two players.

"I mean, common dude." – said Phantasia while holding onto the gryphon helmet wearing player's neck.

"The fight didn't even lasted long at all and I didn't even needed to go all out."

"Are you sure you are the same over confided guy who straight up gave himself a nickname 'emperor'?"

The knight tried thrusting his sword at Phantasia, but in the next second, Phantasia just snapped the man's neck…. Before then letting the corpse of the master ranker hit the floor.

(I mean, I thought he would put up some sort of solid fight or what not…. But this?)

(Fuck me! This was beyond pathetic!)

(I get that he wasn't no longer in top 10 or top 20 anymore, but he was the guy that held the title of the strongest for the longest… Yet, he turns out to be that kind of disappointment.)

"By the way, are you going to attack or not?" – asked Phantasia as the five hidden players were instantly put up on high alert.

(Why is he counting down!?) – thought panicking dark elf assassin.

As Phantasia counted all the way to four, the female lizardman assassin leaped out of the shadows and aimed at Phantasia's name, aiming to assassinate him…. But as she gotten closer, a mechanical tail sprouted from Phantasia rear and impaled the assassin.

"Now this was dumb." – said Phantasia as he pulled the assassin closer, before then just grabbing her head and just crushing it within her grip.

"…"

"Fuck this!" – said the dark elf assassin as the remaining assassins started running off… Only to then get blasted with a hail of bullets, acid and bones, which instantly dealt critical damage to the two assassins, knocking one down.

The fallen assassin tried getting up, but before they could, Phantasia just stepped on their torso, smashing it, before then blasting the second assassin with nonstop barrage of magic shots that just melted and tore apart the player's body in extremely brutal fashion.

While Phantasia was focused on destroying the two assassin he caught, the other two that were still alive had already left the ruined room and aimed to leave the ruined castle…. But as they ran, the wall next to them was broke down, as Phantasia walked through and grabbed one of the assassin by their arm.

The other assassin tried leaping away, but Phantasia caught them by their leg.

"Oh, look at this, two little piggies I caught." – said Phantasia.

"…"

"By the way, who was it?" – asked Phantasia as he stared at the two panicking assassins who tried attacking the man… Only to have their attacks straight up do nothing to the monster of man.

"You ain't assassins." – said Phantasia, completely ignoring any and all attacks launched by the assassin, which just filled them with confusion and dread.

"You are drones, aren't you?"

"So? Who hired you?"

"…"

"No betraying client? Hm. Okay." – said Phantasia as he then started swinging the two players around like ragdolls, smashing them against anything near the mad man, before then smashing the woman who he held by the leg against the ground and then just step on her head, killing her on the spot.

Phantasia then tried going for the second assassin…. But they just cut off their own arm to get loose and start running, already making some distance….But at they ran, a chunk of the wall was thrown at them, hitting them and knocking them down.

They tried to get up once again-

"!?" – but as they did, the blade tail pierced their stomach.

"GET OVER HERE!" – shouted Phantasia as he dragged the assassin towards himself, before then just grabbing their head with both of his hands and just popping their head up.

"…"

"So… Anybody else?" – asked Phantasia.

"These guys were way too freaking weak to had been doing the job alone… Are we going to play the game of hide and seek or what?"

(What the fuck?) – thought Miv as she was the player staring through her rifle's scope, observing from the forest nearby the castle where Phantasia was.

(I know these bastards were nobodies, but still… They got eliminated way too quickly.)

(Heck, that Emperor guy only lasted few minutes while the monster wasn't going all out.)

"Hey. Do you have eyes on the target?" – asked the voice from walkie-talkie.

"Yeah…. But I don't think I want to even shot at him." – said Miv.

(For crying out loud, with that Diamond guy, the money was easy to get… But with him?)

(I mean, the bounty was extremely high and shit, but I don't think I want to get involved with a bastard that can just beat up the master ranker like a child.)

Miv turned off the walkie-talkie.

(Fuck you.) – thought Miv.

(You just want to use me to tire him out.)

(I mean, he is master rank 3 and there was lot of greedy weak idiots… But still… I don't think I want to mess with that bastard.) – thought Miv as she started leaving her position upon realizing Phantasia was aiming to leave the ruined castle grounds.

(But honestly speaking?)

(That guy is beyond dangerous… So, I guess it is better if I spread the world.)
