No Trespassing! My Aloof Brother

Chapter 675 - 673: It’s His Fault [5 Updates]

Besides, chasing a girlfriend isn’t the same as trying to score. You don’t need anyone to teach you. If you’re sincere, Sophia Bennett will definitely see that.

Liam Spencer found countless excuses for himself just because he was too shy to teach Christopher Scott how to act cute. He could be quite the charmer in front of Maya Spencer, but such secrets can’t be shared with others.

"..." Christopher Scott listened to Liam Spencer’s scolding in silence, feeling a bit disappointed. He had come to Liam full of expectations, yet this guy wouldn’t give him any guidance at all. Instead, he suggested Christopher think about how Sophia Bennett described him.

Christopher Scott frowned, wondering if he should just repeat what Sophia Bennett had done. Nevertheless, it wasn’t impossible. As long as he could win her back, it didn’t matter what he did.

Yet that girl dodged him every time she saw him, making it impossible for him to get close to her. How was he supposed to chase her?

At that moment, Christopher Scott finally understood the painstaking effort of pursuing someone, and he regretted how he had treated Sophia Bennett before. It was truly unforgivable.

Recalling his coldness towards her, Christopher wished he could give himself a good smack, wondering how he could have been so foolish.

As her gaze fell on Sophia Bennett again, she was smiling joyfully.

But the smile on her face wasn’t meant for him, making Christopher Scott feel a little uncomfortable.

Currently, Sophia Bennett was sitting with Seven Murray, but Christopher’s eyes were solely fixed on Sophia, the girl who was completely different from Seven.

He liked her short hair, her shy smile, her timidity, and even her stubborn persistence.

The sight of Sophia Bennett made Christopher Scott feel immensely fond of her, wanting to embrace her, to kiss her little rosy cheeks, to apologize, and to tell her that making her sad was his fault.

However, at this moment, he could only watch her from afar, basking in her bright smile, feeling himself becoming small and insignificant.

Liam Spencer, sitting beside him, glanced at Christopher’s enamored expression, shaking his head helplessly. He then pulled out his phone and dialed Maya Spencer’s number.

In the corner of the bar, after hanging up the phone, Maya Spencer looked at everyone seriously and said, "Third brother says we should come over, no forming little cliques."

Maya Spencer understood Liam’s little scheme better than anyone; he was trying to create an opportunity for Christopher Scott to approach Sophia Bennett. Although she wanted to tease Christopher, the trickster, she had to follow her husband’s lead and heed Liam’s words. Therefore, she rallied everyone to merge with the larger group.

Several girls moved to the gaming area at the center of the bar, where Sophia Bennett’s heart was beating so fast it felt like it might leap out of her mouth.

As she got closer to Christopher Scott, the earlier events became increasingly vivid, turning into a dream-like sequence.

Her gaze inadvertently landed on Christopher Scott, and she noticed that he was watching her again.

Sophia Bennett was flustered, unable to guess what Christopher Scott intended to do.

Although Maya Spencer had mentioned that Christopher wanted to win her back, Sophia didn’t believe it. She couldn’t accept that Christopher Scott would like her or that he would come back to pursue her.

She felt there must be some grand conspiracy at play, maybe a trap set by Christopher, only wanting to see her make a fool of herself.

So, she immediately averted her gaze from Christopher, took two steps left, and hid behind Seven Murray.

Even though she once longed for Christopher Scott’s eyes to find her, she had given up on that desire, so she couldn’t let herself be swayed or turned into a laughingstock.

Christopher Scott felt at a loss when Sophia Bennett tucked herself behind Seven Murray after catching his gaze.

He felt it was karma; he used to avoid Sophia Bennett, and now she returned the favor.

However, Christopher was not one to give up easily. When Sophia Bennett approached, sitting on the sofa, he casually walked over from the bar and sat beside her.

Suddenly, Sophia Bennett held her breath and instinctively moved closer to Ella Turner, keeping a distance from Christopher Scott.

Christopher watched Sophia’s actions, took a deep breath, and cheerfully said to Lucas Shaw at the gaming table, "Second brother, it’s more fun with more people, let’s change the game."

"Then let’s play high-low. The loser has to take off a piece of clothing," Lucas Shaw said with a mischievous grin.

"I’ll take off a sock for you, will you accept it?" Maya Spencer retorted nonchalantly. She was an expert in such matters, having removed a sock when she was teased in a bar before.

"Pfft..." Liam Spencer chuckled at her cheeky look and wrapped her in his arms, planting a kiss on her cheek.

"Third sister-in-law is the worst." Hudson Moore loved nothing more than watching Maya Spencer go head-to-head.

Then the group started guessing high-low, each receiving two cards. Those with smaller numbers drew turtles on their faces, since this bunch would play any childish game together; with so many people, it was all about having fun.

After a round of cards, four people had numbers below eight, and Sophia Bennett was one of them.

Christopher Scott glanced at Sophia’s cards, immediately grabbed a blue marker from the table, and smiled, "I’ll draw Sophia’s turtle."

The game was quite simple. Everyone would draw cards, and beforehand, they’d set a target number, like eight. If the sum of the two cards was greater than eight, they’d win. If less, they’d lose. If the card points exceeded 10, they’d start calculating from 1 again.

Sophia’s cards totaled 14, subtracting 10 leaves her with only 4 points.

Listening to Christopher say he’d draw a turtle on her face, her eyes widened with confusion, becoming increasingly unclear on Christopher’s intentions.

Yet everyone else understood.

Before Sophia could snap out of it, Christopher’s warm large hand tilted her chin upwards.

Their eyes met, Sophia looking at the close-up face of Christopher, holding her breath as she felt more and more dazed.

Observing Christopher using his mouth to uncap the marker, she involuntarily took a deep breath, catching the subtle fragrance from Christopher, a scent she adored.

As the pen tip touched her face, she instinctively spoke, pleading, "Make it smaller."

"Alright!" Christopher Scott replied gently, his soothing voice melting her into a puddle, causing her heart to flutter, yet she dared not hope for more.

Once Christopher finished drawing the little turtle and lifted the pen from her face, an abrupt commotion sounded in the bar.

Sophia turned to see security personnel blocking a boy holding a rose, saying, "Sir, the bar is reserved by Third Young Master tonight. You can’t enter without an invitation."

"I’m not here to party; I’m here to find someone. Once I find her, I’ll leave immediately," the boy said indifferently.

Sophia Bennett recognized the boy, as did Christopher Scott. He was the one who confessed to Sophia in the department store that day.

Sophia had stayed home for several days, not leaving, and today, the moment she went out, the boy chased her to the bar. She even suspected he had hired a detective to track her.

Watching the boy tussling with security personnel, her brows furrowed. She didn’t want to see the boy nor have everyone witness his declaration of love, which would be embarrassing for her.
