"Elia, am I to call you stupid or foolish? You’re now just a fallen Fourth Miss of the Spencers. Do you think my mom will welcome you? Will she arrange a job for you?" Henry scoffed at her reminder.
"Henry Reid, don’t think I’ll buy your nonsense. Your mom isn’t like that at all." Elia somehow got the nerve to be so confident about Madam Reid’s character.
Henry Reid, seeing Elia’s stubbornness, coldly laughed and said, "Our whole family is like that."
"I won’t listen to you. I’ll find your mom myself." Disbelieving Henry’s self-deprecation, she left his office to find Madam Reid.
Watching her departing figure, Henry immediately dialed Madam Reid’s phone number.
