No Trespassing! My Aloof Brother

Chapter 267 - 265: Really Didn’t Lie to You [5 Updates]

Liam listened to the girl’s accusations, took a deep breath, and said nonchalantly, "It’s indeed fake."

"Ha! Have some dignity, can’t you write the words ’take responsibility for your actions’?" Facing Liam’s defense, Maya didn’t believe it one bit.

The man looked at Maya’s disdain and mockery, turned around, extended his right hand, pinched her chin, and asked with a mischievous smile, "So, you’re jealous?"

"Don’t flatter yourself. Just please have some dignity in the future, and don’t make me clean up your mess." Maya said, raising her small hand to push away the hand gripping her chin, then rolled her eyes at him to show her disdain.

Liam watched the angry girl, thinking about how she had just called him a jerk, and helplessly shook his head, started the vehicle, and left the hotel.

Inside the car, Maya’s face was consistently sour, feeling uncomfortable and annoyed about being forced to act and help him clean up.

Beside her, Liam looked at her little face full of resentment, raised his right hand, touched her chin, and asked, "Still angry?"

"I find you disgusting," Maya complained angrily.

Listening to the man’s questioning, Maya impatiently knocked away his big hand, propped her right hand against the car window, supported her head, and rolled her eyes at him again.

Now, Maya felt like a useless person, everything she did was pushing herself into a pit.

She hated this version of herself, hated how she submitted to him in bed, yet couldn’t find direction in life to make herself bright, she was that corner of darkness, already utterly dejected and directionless.

So, she could only break the jar and let herself become completely numb.

Liam looked at the girl’s impatient expression, not feeling any unhappiness, continued to reach out with his right hand, pinched her little face, and said, "Maya, I’m really not lying to you, that little model was just called to act, I have nothing with her."

"Take your hand away." Maya still had no good attitude when speaking to him.

Whoever Liam was good with, juggling multiple relationships, she didn’t care, nor could she manage, but she cared about being used to help him clean up his image, build a good reputation.

"Maya, you’re angry for nothing, I really haven’t touched that woman. If you don’t believe me, ask Elijah; he’s the one who found her, just to provoke you a bit." Maybe because he had slept well with Maya, Liam’s patience was much better than usual, explaining to her repeatedly.

However, Maya simply ignored him, she wouldn’t be foolish enough to ask Elijah, who obviously would speak for him.

Seeing the girl’s face still looking terrible, Liam immediately grabbed her small hand, brought it to his lips, gently bit it, and continued, "Maya, I promise you, apart from you, I’ve never had another woman."

Listening to the man’s explanation, the girl abruptly retracted her hand, thinking, doesn’t he fear being struck by lightning saying such things?

"Maya, tell me! What do I have to do for you to believe me?" Faced with Maya’s silence, Liam was already going crazy, feeling deeply wronged.

"Why would it matter to you whether I believe you?" Maya retorted arrogantly, not giving him an ounce of face.

Anyway, now that she had nothing to lose, she had nothing to fear, she was the one with nothing to lose, so if he made her unhappy, she’d hold a press conference to cry out about Liam’s misdeeds, especially since the media already had evidence.

Faced with the girl’s rebellion, Liam was at a loss, stretched out his arm, wrapped it around her neck, and pulled her in front of him, kissing her lips unceremoniously.

Facing Liam’s physical aggression, Maya had grown too lazy to resist, unable to escape it, so she might as well enjoy it.

Only when she couldn’t breathe anymore did she push him away, making him let go of her.

Liam watched the expressionless girl, gently bit her lip, and said, "Maya, I’m really not lying to you, apart from you, I’ve never touched another woman."

Looking at Liam’s dead seriousness and deep eyes, for a moment, Maya felt a bit confused; her strong beliefs suddenly shook, thinking there was some truth to what he said, dumbly staring at him, not moving.

The man, observing her dazed gaze, gently pecked her nose tip, saying, "Don’t disgust me like that anymore, there’s nothing about me for you to be disgusted with."

Every time Maya spoke about being disgusted with him, Liam felt very unhappy; he didn’t care about what others thought of him, but he cared about Maya’s view.

Hearing the man’s warning, Maya rolled her eyes at him, saying, "Your mouth is yours, say whatever you want."

Clearly, she still didn’t completely trust him because she couldn’t believe he would be honest during the three years she wasn’t around, the lie seemed forced, all he could do was chuckle!

"Maya, if even half of what I said is a lie, from now on, I will... never function again, okay?" Liam was desperate, resorting to curses.

"Pfft!" Maya couldn’t help but burst into laughter at the man’s oath.

This was her second time laughing in recent days, even she didn’t expect to be amused by Liam.

Of course, laughing was one thing, it didn’t stop her from continuing to dislike him.

Liam watched the girl smiling brightly, hooked her little face with his right hand, pulled her close again, and kissed her lips once more.

His kiss was gentle, meticulous, giving a dreamy sensation.

When Liam let go of Maya, she suddenly asked curiously, "Did you really not have anything with Grace?"

Liam answered resolutely, "No."

Then, Maya casually muttered to herself, "No wonder you see me and want to sleep; turns out you’re making up for her part."

"Maya, can’t you stop ruining the mood?" He didn’t like hearing Maya say such things.

He confessed, during the first time when he was drugged, in a daze, he did feel like he’d returned to the past, thought she was Grace, but only that one time. Every time since, he knew very well who he was with, desired whose body.

Listening to the man’s complaints, Maya didn’t respond but turned her head to look out the window.

After a moment, Liam stopped the car in front of a French restaurant, after having dinner, he drove Maya back to his apartment, clearly not intending to return her, but to keep her long-term.

In the apartment, Liam worked in the study while Maya watched TV in the bedroom.

She lazily curled up on the sofa, her mind a chaotic mess, her thoughts not focused on the TV.

Soon after, she suddenly stood up from the sofa, grabbed her phone, walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, and dialed her uncle’s number; once connected, she said, "Uncle, what information do you want from Owen Clan Group?"

Maya didn’t notice while on the call, Liam had already come out of the study, steadily approaching the bedroom.
