Six hours later, Yan Yuling lay weakly on the bed as she took a nap. Meanwhile, Feng Zhexuan was too anxious to sleep. So, he focused on helping his wife rest by massaging her sore body.
When Grandpa Feng, Jin Rongsan, and Jin Zhiwen arrived, they saw him massaging his wife’s legs.
Seeing them, Feng Zhexuan greeted, "Grandpa, Father, you are here."
Looking at his pale face, Grandpa Feng comforted him, "Zhexuan, don’t worry. Your wife will be fine."
Hearing his grandfather’s reassurance, Feng Zhexuan only nodded. His body was tired, but his mind was even more exhausted. He was at his limit, but worry and fear kept him from resting.
Since they couldn’t help with much, Grandpa Feng, Jin Rongsan, and Jin Zhiwen sat on the couch to keep them company. Although they said nothing, their expressions revealed their worry and nervousness.
"Wife, I have contacted Granny Zhang. She will come over to take care of you during your postpartum confinement," Feng Zhexuan suddenly said.
When Yan Yuling heard this, she nodded and said, "Thank you, Husband."
Just as she finished speaking, another painful contraction hit, and she let out a grunt, "Uhh..."

With her husband by her side, Yan Yuling felt reassured. As she followed his breathing, though the pain was still intense, the breathing techniques and her husband’s massages made it more bearable. The contraction lasted over five minutes. When the pain subsided, Yan Yuling lay weakly on the bed.
