Chapter 106: Question
"Your faces are familiar. Have I dealt with you before?"
At Bianca’s question, both the Crows nodded.
She clapped her hands in joy, "Great, that makes this easier. As always, yes or no questions only, five million crowns per question. I guarantee on my honor that I will not lie. Let’s place the limit at fifteen questions."
Seventy-five million. For fifteen questions. Are you these bastards serious?
Both men turned around and began to discuss with each other. Presumably trying to ensure they get their money’s worth.
Holy hell, they are actually doing it! Bianca, make it fifty! No, a hundred!
"Hush, Elian, your information sells since hardly anyone knows anything about you. Fifteen should suffice as an appetizer," Bianca countered in his mind.
Elian’s blood began to race as he saw another side of Bianca. Contrary to her persona as the Witch of the Frozen Night, Lady Winter was dominant in a completely different sense.
Where the Witch used overwhelming force, Lady Winter used her wits and resources. Sunny gave Elian the colossal task of tracking down her knights and her Anchor.
Considering how long it has been since it happened, or the lack of witnesses, it was an impossible task. Yet, Bianca simply used her purse and found all the knights in under an hour. By leveraging money, Bianca bought effort and time.
A mentality so alien it shattered his worldview.
