Chapter 1817: More reinforcements
Tiamat’s eyes blazed with rage and disbelief as she fixed her gaze upon the unexpected newcomer. Standing before her was a young man with short dark hair, adorned in majestic white armor. His imposing aura surged outward like a boundless sea of star power, threatening to suffocate even the highest sky. In his right hand, the man wielded a magnificent sword, the blade resonating powerfully with his stellar energy, exponentially amplifying its cutting force.
Before initiating this Eternal War, Tiamat had meticulously investigated every other ArchDeity within the Second Realm. She had ensured none would dare intervene on behalf of the Lord of Ages, and her painstaking preparations had not failed her. It quickly became apparent to the Dragon Empress that this new ArchDeity was not from the Second Realm at all. His sudden arrival implied external interference—someone from the higher layers had dispatched an ArchDeity as reinforcement for the Lord of Ages.
This revelation carried profound implications. Traveling between layers in the Crimson World typically required several years, even for powerful ArchDeities. For such rapid deployment, the orchestrator behind this event had to be an entity of unfathomable might—an Alpha-Omega Overgod!
Though these realizations surged through Tiamat’s mind, she did not allow herself to hesitate for long. Her eyes filled with resolute determination as her overwhelming power exploded outward, enveloping her surroundings in a surge of draconic might. Regardless of the intruder’s origins or backing, only one thing truly mattered—he stood in her way, and thus, he would be destroyed.
"Heart-Soul Dragon Breath!"
Tiamat’s commanding roar echoed through the sky. Her mouth opened wide, and immediately five massive dragon-head phantoms appeared behind her, each of them superimposed upon the other, releasing an overwhelming burst of rainbow-colored flames.
Shock briefly appeared in the eyes of the Star ArchDeity as he faced Tiamat’s overwhelming attack. He swiftly channeled his power, a constellation glowing brightly across his chest, arms, and legs, surging with astral energy. Wielding his blade with all his strength, he swung forward in a desperate attempt to counter the draconic assault.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!"
A catastrophic explosion erupted at the point of collision, and the Star ArchDeity was violently hurled backward, tumbling through the highest sky. Despite being an ArchDeity himself, he had only recently risen to that rank and was firmly at the lower threshold of power. Facing Tiamat, a peak Middle Stage ArchDeity on the verge of reaching the Late Stage, was nearly suicidal. But in truth, he was never intended to win this battle alone; his role was merely supportive.
