Chapter 592: A Village
After the battle, the cannibal tribe had suffered substantial losses and had no choice but to retreat. However, before they withdrew, they cast a menacing look at Gu Fan and Su Hui, as if to say, "We’ll meet again."

Upon seeing the ladles filled with fruit in the crew led by Su Hui, Gu Fan made up his mind, knowing this would solve the problem of food and water.
"Alright, you all go back first. I’ll stay behind to find people. I fear delaying would put Xu Haowen in danger." Gu Fan couldn’t simply leave, but food and water were also critical, and so he decided to stay behind.
Understanding Gu Fan’s feelings, Su Hui too decided to stay with him. She asked that all ammo be given to her, just in case.
"Are you sure? Even though both of you are quite formidable, there are ultimately just two of you," Lu Yi worriedly expressed, wanting to stay and help.
However, Gu Fan responded, "Your task is equally essential. We must bring back the food and water; this is our hope to survive. Remember, the captain’s companions are suffering greatly. You must safely and promptly deliver the food and water back."
"Alright, do take care. After we deliver the food and water, we’ll come back to help immediately." Lu Yi agreed, but Ouyang Jin was worried, "We’re not familiar with this forest. If we get separated, how should we find you afterward?"
