The scream of terror, that sailor stumbled and fought his way up from the pit, his fearful expression making others afraid as well.
Gu Fan had a good look and saw many human bones inside, a chill ran down his spine. He turned his head and saw the crewman was still not able to calm down from the terror, Gu Fan frowned.
Lu Yi and Jie also observed the pit, felt the creeps: "Gu Fan, do you think..."
"I know, we are in trouble." Gu Fan knew typically wild animals would not go to such lengths dragging all the human skeletons together after attacking humans, which meant there’s something more formidable than wild animals on this island.
Lu Yi nodded: "I suggest we move quickly, meet up with Sister Su and the rest."
"Good, from now on, no one speaks loudly." Having said that, Gu Fan took the lead, his heart filled with anxiety. He dreaded that the scream just now would attract some unspeakable things on the island.
A few crew members started discussing, guessing what the pit was all about, where the skeletons came from, was there some kind of ritual involved.
Gu Fan turned around immediately, "As I said, no talking, no whispers, just keep an eye on our surroundings."
Some of the crew members were dissatisfied. They had been working for many years, why should they listen to an inexperienced youngster. Still, they knew Gu Fan was right, and hence did not argue.
