Those Classmates who Suddenly Disappeared

The floating island was shaking violently with explosions occurring all around. Everything around Lin Xi, was being destroyed step by step. The situation was precarious.

Lin Xi knew that Gu Fan and the others had escaped, which was a great relief to her. She then started to concentrate on all her remaining supernatural power to construct a protective barrier around herself to counter the damage from the explosions as much as possible.

With a loud bang, a massive explosion launched Lin Xi flying. Many things resembling hibernation pods were destroyed, leaving the surroundings in complete disarray.

Lin Xi managed to stand up by leaning against the wall, her head still buzzing. Suddenly, she noticed something carved on the floor, previously concealed by the hibernation pods. But now, with the pods blown away, the carving on the floor was exposed.

It was a drawing of a phoenix spreading its wings, only its body was shaped like the character for ’mystery’. Lin Xi was very familiar with such drawings. Despite the ongoing explosions, she shouted at the top of her voice: "Is the woman with purple hair still here? Answer my question."

The holographic projection of the purple-haired woman appeared before Lin Xi: "What would you like to ask?"

Lin Xi pointed to the drawings on the floor: "Tell me, who left this here? When was it left?"

The purple-haired woman answered: "Three women did. They found this place ten years after the disappearance of Qian Ye and took away three hibernation pods. They also left this drawing."

"You know about Qian Ye, you know my secret." Lin Xi was astonished, feeling as if she’d been seen through by the purple-haired woman.
